Fantastic and painless experience
We actually had gone to another loan servicer prior to using VU and we didn't have a good experience. We tried VU based on recommendations from family who have used them previously and praised their experience there. From start to finish everyone was very professional, quick to answer our questions thoroughly, and even got us a housewarming gift. Overall, excellent. Especially for a real estate novice like me. Very attentive staff, they cover every aspect of the process and explain things very well. One issue was a few communication gaps between the real estate agent and the loan officer and the insurance team.
I couldn't have done it without Veterans United. I am 79 and the houses I bought before I paid cash so this is my first experience financing a home. Veterans United took care of most everything.
