The entire loan team was a pleasure to work with, and they get results! And they even responded to me on weekends on their days off. The online portal and to- do lists really streamlined the process. There were numerous situations where my “team” was impossible to get in contact with taking over a day to respond or get info the was extremely time sensitive. I would never get updates unless I was constantly reaching out. I was told we looked good to close for multiple weeks until 3 days before our closing date I get told that “ Oh the appraisal hasn’t come back yet so we don’t think we can make the date” which resulted in the deal nearly falling apart. The only time that there seemed to be real effort put in was when I went and talked to another lender and threatened to go with them because they were responsive. Lastly the day of our closing my loan officer never sent the wire info and let us just walk into closing looking like idiots. Some of this I realize isn’t 100% Veterans United but they never did any of the things experienced professionals would do like making sure everything is on track.

Jordan, and Jennifer were the best people I’ve worked with for using a loan. I’ve known Jordan for over 8 months and he’s an outstanding guy who was never pushy, always quick to answers, awesome personality, and not egotistical whatsoever. A great person!Jennifer always answered my calls immediately when I was feeling impatient with the underwriting, and the appraisal process. She was always trying to get an answer for me from the appraiser when they were taking too long and she did. The process felt like trying to go to sleep before Christmas but you were too excited.

Friendly employees made it easy to understand the how of the rights of a veterans in borrowing money for a house. I would strongly recommend them to other veterans who because of circumstances having a hard time owning a house and instead live in the street as homeless.
