With Veterans United, buying a home was super easy! I looked at a few houses, told them which one I wanted, they did the rest. They walked me through the entire process with constant communication and updates. Cant go wrong!
My overall experience with Tim at Veterans United was fantastic. I found a house I love and got it for a price that I really was comfortable with.
Mr. Aaron did an amazing job throughout our loan process. He worked diligently to secure us the best possible interest rate and made sure every item was fully prepared for underwriting. During critical moments, he provided thorough, clear, and balanced information, which helped us feel confident and informed at every step. His knowledge, responsiveness, and attention to detail truly stood out. We are very grateful for his hard work and highly recommend him.
I really appreciate them .. they help me with so much in a little time

Experience first-hand why 359,383 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Mr. Dan Perry was very helpful, understanding and knowledgable about our situation and all the products available through Veterans United. We will not only recommend Veterans United to friends and family but we will use them to sell this home and buy our next and last one.
Thank you Veterans United and Dan especially, for all you do.
Tommy and his team made refinancing our home a smooth process!
There was a "hiccup" with our title holder and documents but overall VERY SATISFIED! The online process and closing went smooth. I absolutely loved getting my documents in a USB port versus the two inch folder with a copy of the documents. Hayden and Sarah kept me in the loop throughout the process - Very Professional!!!
Outstanding service
Kaleb and his team were exceptional ty so much!
I did an assumption due to divorce. I could not get a phone conversation for well over a month even after reaching out repeatedly. No one could explain the process or seemed to understand how to do an assumption. I would have happily gone to a lawyer and had them set up all the steps needed if just asked. They did a transfer sale as that was the only way they knew how to move forward costing a significant amount of unnecessary taxes. I only started to get movement/communication once we were at close. The next title escrow officer with 30 years experience was blown away at how poorly this was handled. I would never recommend veterans united ever. My team could have googled how to do an assumption or used the instructions off of your own website. The day before close they were trying to get me to pay expenses that are not even on the buyer to pay because they never got included in the paperwork. I can’t say enough bad things about this transaction, I could write a book.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Nadia,
I’m really sorry for how this was handled. Going through a divorce is difficult enough, and not being able to get clear answers or timely communication about a loan assumption only adds to that stress. I understand why you’re frustrated.
You’re right that assumptions are more nuanced than a standard transaction, and it’s disappointing to hear that you felt your questions weren’t answered or that the process wasn’t clearly explained. I’m especially sorry that you felt forced into a transfer sale and incurred additional costs as a result, and that issues around fees weren’t addressed until right before closing. That’s not the experience we want for anyone.
I’d appreciate the chance to look into this further and better understand what happened from start to finish. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our Client Advocate team so we can review the details and make sure your feedback is shared with the right teams internally. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
Our office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday. If you contact us outside those hours, we typically respond the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
